make sure that well is sealed for good. jetblue flight attendant steven slater is now a former jetblue employee. the airline confirms to cnn tonight slater is no longer with jetblue. slater achieved instant fame when he opened the emergency chute and exited the plane with a couple of beers. depending on whom you believe he either got fed up with rude passengers or he instigate add confrontation with a passenger. slater has pled not guilty to felony charges of reckless endangerment and criminal mischief and overstayed his 15 minutes of fame by about 30 minutes. >>> tropical storm earl beat up parts of canada today. the rough waters in this bay in moncton, new brunswick, docks twisted and boats overturned. 200,000 people lost power in 70-mile-an-hour winds ripping down power lines. the u.s. east coast dodged a bullet but the storm will still have an impact on the beaches. from florida to maine lifeguards are warning folks at the beach to keep out of the water because of the dangerous rip currents. our meteorologist joins us right now to explain this whole thing and i have to thin
